Most people see a room for what it is. I see it for what it could be. I have an intuitive eye for potential and the vision to bring it to life.

I’m Linda McDermott, founder and principal designer of McDermott Interiors, an interior design studio serving the Portland Metro Area. I create thoughtful, inviting spaces that feel personal, collected, and made for the way you actually live.

My love for design started in childhood and has only grown stronger over the years. With four years of experience running my own home staging business and a lifetime of reimagining spaces, I’ve developed an instinct for seeing what a room needs—and how to bring it all together.

Long before I became a professional interior designer, I was the friend everyone turned to for advice. Whether it was styling a living room, reworking a tricky layout, refreshing a patio, or finding the perfect plant for an empty corner, transforming spaces has always come naturally to me.

Through McDermott Interiors, I offer interior design, room refreshes, space planning, home styling, and outdoor living design throughout the Portland Metro Area. I design both indoors and out because I believe your outdoor spaces should feel just as warm, expressive, and personal as the rooms inside.

Design isn’t just what I do. It’s how I live. With heart, style, and a sharp creative eye, I bring soul to every space I touch.
